As you may know a band called ANTI FEMINISM, their performance is pretty insane. Breaking light bulbs, cutting body, and hurting themselves. OMFG. Don't get me wrong, I respect them; I can't do something like that. They are hardcore.
But... Is those kind of violent performance ROCK to you? Yea, I think hard rock cannot be cute-cute like Osyare kei. Yet hurting yourself with knife/light bulbs doesn't sounds ROCK to me. It's just more violent performance, isn't it?
Anyway, ANTI FEMINISM is the only band that is doing such a crazy (crazily cool) performance in current VK industry, so I hope they continue doing well.

Self Mutilation i think has been in the music business for a while now,i've personally havent seen anti-feminism live yet but i have seen bands like dir en grey and marilyn manson and in my point of view its more of a shock value/getting the crowd pumped maneuver. I've seen reactions both stemming from OMFG BRUTAL SO METAL to Omg that was effin sick, lets get out of here this is gross. To get the crowd going off of stunts like this may/may not be helping them get more into the show and the music
